Du'as for Your Sacred Journey
Location-aware supplications mapped to every step of Umrah and Hajj. Arabic text, transliteration, translation, and context — so you know what to say, when, and why.
"Call upon Me; I will respond to you." — Quran 40:60
A Note on Du'a
None of these du'as are compulsory. They are recommended by scholars and drawn from the Sunnah. Personal du'a in any language — from the heart, with sincerity — is always accepted. Allah knows what is in your heart, even if you cannot find the words. Do not feel anxious about memorization.

"Call upon Me; I will respond to you." — Quran 40:60
Entering Ihram & Miqat
Talbiyah (The Call of Response)
Here I am, O Allah, here I am. You have no partner. Here I am. Indeed, all praise, grace, and sovereignty belong to You. You have no partner.
This is the anthem of the pilgrim. Every Muslim who has ever performed Umrah or Hajj has recited these words. They declare your presence before Allah, answering His call.
Niyyah (Intention) for Umrah
Allahumma inni ureedul 'umrata fa-yassirha li wa taqabbalha minni.
O Allah, I intend to perform Umrah, so make it easy for me and accept it from me.
Your intention (niyyah) is the foundation. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Actions are judged by intentions.' Make this du'a with presence of heart.
Entering the Sacred Mosque
Entering Masjid al-Haram
Allahumma-ftah li abwaba rahmatik.
O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.
You are entering the most sacred space on earth. The Prophet ﷺ taught us to ask for mercy at the threshold.
Upon First Sight of the Ka'bah
Allahumma innii as'alukal-'afwa wal-'afiyah fid-dunya wal-akhirah.
O Allah, I ask You for forgiveness and well-being in this world and the Hereafter.
Scholars say this is one of the moments when du'a is most likely accepted. Raise your hands, pour out your heart. There is no fixed du'a — ask for whatever you need.
Du'a for Acceptance
Allahumma zid hadhal-bayta tashreefan wa ta'zeeman wa takreeman wa mahabah.
O Allah, increase this House in honor, reverence, nobility, and awe.
A beautiful supplication acknowledging the majesty of Allah's Sacred House.
During Tawaf
At the Black Stone (Hajar al-Aswad)
Bismillahi Allahu Akbar. Allahumma imanan bika wa tasdeeqan bikitabika wa wafa'an bi'ahdika wattiba'an lisunnati nabiyyika ﷺ.
In the name of Allah, Allah is the Greatest. O Allah, out of faith in You, belief in Your Book, fulfilling Your covenant, and following the Sunnah of Your Prophet ﷺ.
If you cannot reach the Black Stone due to crowds, simply raise your hand toward it, say 'Allahu Akbar,' and continue. The intention is what counts.
Between Rukn al-Yamani and the Black Stone
Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan wa qina 'adhaban-nar.
Our Lord, give us in this world what is good and in the Hereafter what is good, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.
This is the most beloved du'a to the Prophet ﷺ for this spot. It comprehensively asks for goodness in both worlds.
General Tawaf Supplication
Glory be to Allah, all praise is for Allah, there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest.
Simple, powerful, and beloved to Allah. You can repeat this throughout your circuits.
At Maqam Ibrahim & Zamzam
Prayer at Maqam Ibrahim
Wattakhidhu min maqami Ibraheema musalla.
And take the station of Ibrahim as a place of prayer. (Quran 2:125)
This is from the Quran itself. After Tawaf, find a spot near Maqam Ibrahim and pray two rak'ahs of gratitude.
Before Drinking Zamzam
Allahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'an wa rizqan wasi'an wa shifa'an min kulli da'.
O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, abundant provision, and healing from every disease.
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'Zamzam water is for whatever it is drunk for.' Make your du'a before drinking — for knowledge, health, provision, or anything your heart needs.
During Sa'i (Safa & Marwah)
Atop Safa — Facing the Ka'bah
Innas-safaa wal-marwata min sha'a'irillah.
Indeed, Safa and Marwah are among the symbols of Allah. (Quran 2:158)
Say 'Allahu Akbar' three times, recite this verse, and make your personal supplications while facing the Ka'bah.
While Walking Between Safa and Marwah
Rabbighfir warham wa antal-a'azzul-akram.
My Lord, forgive and have mercy, for You are the Most Mighty, the Most Generous.
Remember Hajar (AS) as you walk — a mother searching desperately for water for her infant son. Her trust in Allah brought forth Zamzam.
Du'as for Hajj
The Best Du'a at Arafah
There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things competent.
The Prophet ﷺ said: 'The best du'a is the du'a of Arafah.' This is the most important day of Hajj — stand with presence, weep if you can, and ask for everything.
Du'a After Stoning the Jamarat
Allahummaj'alhu hajjan mabrooran wa dhanban maghfoora.
O Allah, make it an accepted Hajj and a forgiven sin.
This marks the completion of the major Hajj rites. Ask Allah to accept your entire pilgrimage and forgive your shortcomings.
Leaving & Farewell
Farewell Tawaf (Tawaf al-Wida')
O Allah, do not make this my last visit to Your Sacred House.
Leaving the Ka'bah is heartbreaking for every pilgrim. Make this du'a with hope that Allah will invite you back.
Leaving the Mosque
Allahumma inni as'aluka min fadlik.
O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.
The Prophet ﷺ taught us to enter with mercy and leave asking for provision — acknowledging that all sustenance comes from Allah's bounty.
Carry These Du'as in Your Heart
May Allah accept your supplications, ease your journey, and grant you an accepted pilgrimage. Ameen.
